Job Overview:

We are delighted to be recruiting for a Junior Full Stack Developer (Backend-Focused) to join our growing development team. This position is central to the ongoing development, stability, and modernisation of Phoenix, our internal platform, as well as the integrations that support our wider business operations.

This is a hands-on role suited to a developer who enjoys taking ownership from concept through to delivery. You will contribute to architectural decisions, work with legacy systems, and help shape the technical direction of our products in a regulated environment where accuracy and reliability are essential.

Your Mission:

  • Building, and maintaining backend services using Python
  • Building, and maintaining frontend services using React
  • Building and integrating RESTful APIs, including third-party integrations
  • Contributing to system architecture and technical decision-making
  • Refactoring and modernising legacy codebases in a structured, incremental way
  • Addressing technical debt to improve long-term system quality
  • Ensuring systems meet the standards required in a regulated industry, with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborating closely with developers, product stakeholders, and wider teams to deliver high-quality solutions

 

Key Competencies:

  • Strong experience developing backend systems using Python
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS(GCP experience considered)
  • Full stack development experience, with a clear strength on the backend
  • Working knowledge of TypeScript and Node.js
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Ability to contribute to and influence technical and architectural decisions
  • Comfortable working with and improving legacy codebases
  • Experience managing technical debt
  • Strong sense of ownership, with the ability to manage work independently and see tasks through to completion
  • Experience working in a regulated environment (energy, finance, healthcare, or similar)

 

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with QA processes, testing strategies, or test automation
  • Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)

RevOps Analyst (Revenue Operations)

Purpose of the Role

This role owns the accuracy and reliability of our finance and revenue data within our CRM. You will be responsible for commission reporting, reconciliation, revenue assurance, and ensuring stakeholders across the business can trust the numbers they see.

The role sits within our Data team and collaborates with Finance, Sales, and Operations. You will become the go-to person for finance data in our CRM (Zoho), maintaining accurate records, producing reliable reports, and identifying discrepancies before they become problems.

 

Key Responsibilities

Finance Operations & Revenue Assurance

  • Perform reconciliation across commission, invoice, payment, and ledger data to identify discrepancies, missing revenue, and incorrect balances.
  • Support revenue recovery by identifying and evidencing underpayments, negative balances, and financial anomalies for investigation.
  • Maintain accurate views of outstanding commission items, aged balances, and supplier payment issues.
  • Support month-end finance operations, including updating commission items, validating expected versus actual values, and ensuring records are aligned to source data.
  • Produce accurate partner and internal commission statements, ensuring exceptions and adjustments are clearly identified.
  • Assist in resolving historical finance data issues and closing out legacy ledger items.

 

Reporting & Analysis

  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards in Zoho Analytics to track performance across sales, operations, and finance.
  • Deliver ad hoc data analysis to support operational and strategic decision making.
  • Produce reporting that supports financial controls, aged receivables tracking, and revenue assurance.
  • Ensure all reports and metrics are traceable back to trusted data sources.

 

Data Quality & Improvement

  • Take ownership of data accuracy within Zoho CRM for finance-related records.
  • Proactively identify data quality issues through validation, reconciliation, and exception reporting.
  • Document data logic, definitions, and processes so they are repeatable and maintainable.
  • Work with the Product and Delivery team to improve and automate manual processes over time.

 

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation.
  • Experience working with CRM or database platforms. Zoho CRM and Zoho Analytics experience is a plus but not essential.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving mindset. You enjoy finding discrepancies and getting to the bottom of them.
  • Process-oriented. You document what you do and look for ways to improve it.

  • Experience with Python.
  • Experience with APIs and data pipelines.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for developing relationships with large corporate energy users, identifying new opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions that align with each client’s sustainability and commercial goals.

 

We’re particularly interested in individuals who have:

  • A proven business development track record in energy or sustainability, ideally working with corporate-sized businesses
  • A strong understanding of ESG, market dynamics, and the wider energy landscape
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience with fixed and flex frameworks (advantageous)

Your Role

  • The purpose of this role is to complete outbound B2B cold calling to build and maintain relationships with potential customers across the UK with an aim to assist them with their energy management needs, offering bespoke solutions to save customers money, time and reduce their carbon footprint.
  • Full 360 Sales Cycle. Energy Consultants create and develop B2B leads, selling available services and products to clients ranging from SME – high value/corporate.
  • Provide excellent customer service to existing and new clients.
  • Provide high levels of internal and external customer care and bring to the attention of your manager any problems that arise on an ongoing basis.
  • Be responsible for and manage a calling strategy – industry and geographical.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders alike.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Someone with a minimum of 12 months experience as an energy consultant consistently hitting target.

Your Role

Your role is pivotal in our mission. You’ll work Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, and your responsibilities include:

Engaging Potential Customers: You’ll be the voice connecting with potential customers throughout the UK, introducing them to the array of value services we offer.

Outbound B2B Cold Calling: Your primary task is to establish and maintain relationships with potential customers across the UK. Your aim is to assist them with their energy management needs, offering tailored solutions to help them save money, time, and reduce their carbon footprint.

Customer Service Excellence: You’ll be providing top-tier customer service to both existing and new clients, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively.

Strategic Calling: Develop and manage a calling strategy that considers industry dynamics and geographical factors to maximise your outreach and impact.

Relationship Building: Your role involves building and nurturing relationships with customers and stakeholders alike, fostering trust and collaboration.
