This pivotal role reports into the board of directors, emphasising its strategic importance. You’ll be the linchpin in building and maintaining robust supplier relationships, ensuring the optimisation of these partnerships. By managing all aspects of supplier interactions, from negotiation to dispute resolution, you will enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of these crucial relationships.

Your Mission

As the Commercial Relationship Manager, you are entrusted with a broad and impactful array of responsibilities. Your role encompasses engaging in rigorous negotiation to establish and maintain beneficial terms for both new and longstanding partnerships.

You will serve as the primary contact for all supplier-related inquiries, embodying the core of these critical relationships.

Your expertise in dispute resolution will be paramount in navigating challenges, ensuring the resilience and growth of partnerships. Facilitating regular interactions and entertaining suppliers will solidify these relationships, further supported by your role in performance feedback and issue resolution.

Additionally, compiling and analysing data to deliver insightful feedback highlights your contribution to continuous improvement and strategic development within supplier relations.

Key Competencies

  • Industry Expertise: Must possess extensive experience in and knowledge of the energy sector, underpinning your ability to navigate industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
  • Data-driven: A solid grasp of Excel is essential, allowing for the effective management and presentation of supplier data.
  • Negotiation Skills: Ultra-strong negotiation skills are a prerequisite, enabling you to secure favorable terms and manage relationships effectively.
